497. DIY Kindle Case
I don’t understand why the Kindle case is so expensive. It’s more than half of the actual Kindle unit. Because I’m not willing to spend that much over a simple case, I decided to make one myself.
I brushed the edges of the book using a water+glue solution, then let it dry overnight.

I marked the book to the size of the Kindle then cut the pages out a few pages at a time until the depth is enough to fit the Kindle.

I brushed the insides again with the glue solution.

Velcro straps attached to cloth were placed to keep the Kindle intact.

Garter was glued to the back to secure the cover.

Wah-lah! 3000 books within a book!

(Full procedure in my Blogspot.)
496. Book case (teaser)
Made a Kindle case out of an old book! It’s not yet fully finished. The complete entry will come soon. :)
The book, “Tales from the 7,000 Isles” by Dianne De Las Casas and Zarah Gagatiga, is now for available for ordering on Amazon.com.
Tip: Check out the preview of the contents of the book. Click on “index” and look for the photos section. Hopefully you’ll find a familiar name. *winks*

P.S. Thank you so much to Zarah and Dianne for letting us join the Sagada road trip. It was a great experience! See you at the book launch and congratulations in advance!
