482. Planes overhead
One afternoon, planes flew over our house. They weren’t the usual commercial planes. They looked like old war planes.
That unfortunate Monday where MRT was a big hassle and I got stuck in traffic along EDSA.

464. Little Sails
There was a group of people on mini sail boats in the Manila Bay. I’d like to ride one but navigating it looks tricky.

461. Hanging by a cable
The cable car at Sentosa was a fun ride! We forgot to get the free pastries though because we didn’t know that we had to claim it halfway through the trip. We thought we could get it after the round trip. Wengk wengk wengk.

454. Up in the sky
Last September 4, me and 21 of my MA classmates in UPD flew to the south of the Philippines for an educational trip on the public schools in Davao. Flying with the clouds was a lovely experience.
I ride the MRT (Metro Rail Transit) every day to work. If you’re a regular passenger of this transit, you are familiar to the art of “squeezing yourself into a small space just to make it in time for work.” You should also be willing to step into the personal spaces of fellow passengers, allotting only a few inches away from his/her face. It is a requirement to wear deodorant or else you will be killed with dagger stares of others.
Never complain of getting squished, pushed, or pulled or else you will hear the overused sentence, “Kung ayaw mo maabala, mag-taxi ka!” (If you don’t want any discomfort, take the taxi!) Prepare for backstabbing and overheard complaints directed to you if you decide on being a spoiled brat on the train.
Props to you if you manage to get out of the train without rumpling your perfectly-ironed office wear.
Oh and last thing, the fare is really cheap.
